      • The scheduled hotel pickup time is between 7:00 am and 7:30 am. Your tour guide will call you to your hotel room before 10 pm the day prior to tour departure to reconfirm exact time.

      • Why is the hotel pickup so early? You will visit Tiananmen Square and Imperial Ancestral Temple first. The Forbidden City opens at 8:30 am.
      • Temporary Closure for maintainnance: Gate towers and walls of the Meridian Gate (Wu men), East Prosperity Gate (Donghua men) and Gate of Divine Prowess (Shenwu men) of the Palace Museum are to be temporarily closed for upgrade. The closure time is from 2 March to 21 March, 2018.
      • If you do not receive a phone call from your tour guide the day before tour departure, please check with the front desk of your hotel for messages or refer to the emergency phone number on your confirmation voucher and call your tour operator.
      • The meeting place is the hotel lobby. The tour guide will find you by eye contact, spell your name from his/her pickup list.
